Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of revenue.house and the free services offered through it, including the Revenue Engine Health Check and the Insights newsletter.

They do not govern paid engagements. Where we work together on an Audit, a Rebuild or a Partner retainer, that work is governed by a separate written engagement agreement, which takes precedence over these terms in the event of any inconsistency. See section 7.

Revenue House provides fractional revenue operations consultancy services to businesses.

By using this website, booking a Health Check, or subscribing to Insights, you accept these terms.

We may amend these terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates when they were last revised. Changes apply from the date they are published and do not affect any engagement already agreed in writing.

You may use this website for lawful purposes connected with evaluating or engaging our services.

You may not use it to transmit unlawful, misleading or malicious material; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to any system connected with it; interfere with its operation or security; or extract its content systematically by automated means for republication or for the development of a competing service.

We may restrict or withdraw access where these terms are breached.

All content and materials made available by Revenue House — including but not limited to text, graphics, the Revenue House name, logo and marks, the five-pillar framework, the scorecard format, article content, page design, and any other work, methodology, framework, template, tool, document or material created by or for Revenue House, in any medium and whether or not published on this website — are owned by Revenue House or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You may read, print and share our published content for your own business purposes, provided it is not altered and Revenue House is identified as the source. You may not republish it commercially, present it as your own work, or use it to create a derivative or competing methodology without our written permission.

Where we produce a scorecard, report or other deliverable for you, you are granted a perpetual right to use it within your own organisation. The underlying frameworks, templates and methods used to produce it remain ours.

The Health Check is offered free of charge. It consists of a video consultation of approximately 30 minutes and a written scorecard summarising what we observe.

Three things follow from that.

It is a high-level assessment, not a diagnosis. The scorecard reflects what you tell us during a short conversation. We do not examine your systems, verify what we are told, or carry out any analysis of your data. Its purpose is to establish roughly where you stand and what is worth looking at, not to reach conclusions you can act on without further work.

It is not professional advice. Nothing in the consultation or the scorecard constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting or regulatory advice, and it should not be relied upon as such. Decisions you take about your business remain yours.

No engagement is created by it. Booking or attending a Health Check does not create a client relationship or commit either of us to anything further. The scorecard is yours to keep whether or not we work together.

Audits, Rebuilds and Partner retainers are provided under a separate written engagement agreement setting out the scope, fee, timetable and terms applicable to that work.

Consistent with how we describe our services on this website:

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, and no engagement arises until an engagement agreement is signed by both parties.

Health Check consultations are booked through our online scheduling page and take place by video call.

Please reschedule or cancel through the link in your confirmation email if you can no longer attend. Where a consultation is missed without notice, we may decline to offer a further booking.

We may reschedule a consultation where necessary and will give as much notice as we reasonably can.

Articles published on this website and distributed by email are general commentary. They are written without knowledge of your circumstances and are not advice for your situation.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Subscription is handled by Substack, and your use of that service is additionally subject to Substack’s own terms.

This website links to and integrates services operated by third parties, including scheduling and video conferencing provided by Google and newsletter distribution provided by Substack.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services, and a link does not imply endorsement. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

We aim to keep this website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or for reasons outside our control.

Content is provided for general information and may be updated or withdrawn at any time without notice.

The website and the free services offered through it are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations that are not expressly set out in these terms.

We do not warrant that the website will be free from errors or interruption, that its content is complete or current, or that any particular outcome will result from following general guidance published on it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Subject to that:

Information you share with us during a Health Check is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy or where we are required to do so by law.

Confidentiality arrangements applying to a paid engagement are set out in the engagement agreement and, where applicable, in a separate non-disclosure agreement.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later.

These terms are between you and Revenue House. No third party has any right to enforce them.
